PE Global is currently recruiting a Administrator (Stores & Shipping) for a 12-month contract role with a leading defence client based in Stevenage.
Responsibilities
- Technical Administrator is an integral position in the business working with key stakeholders in manufacturing to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- The candidate will be required to attend weekly/ monthly project meetings.
- They will liaise with team leaders, supervisors and manufacturing controllers on the shop floor and stores to allocate and locate kit/stock.
- The candidate will be able to quickly adapt to the environment and understand process and practices across the business.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in an admintrative role.
- Used to working under pressure, liaising with team leaders and other stakeholders across the business to drive productivity
- Experience with SAP
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft applications
- Experience within an Engineering/Manufacturing, defence or aerospace organisation is preferred
- Background in Defence or Aerospace industry is preferred
