PE Global is currently recruiting for a Business Development Director for a leading multi-national maritime company based in Norway.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with international partners to be incorporated into the operating model, collaborating with internal and external teams to establish the appropriate commercial engagement methods with the target entities.
- Ensure alignment of financial modeling and sales forecasts with market conditions, ensuring reasonable profit margins.
- Develop the optimal operating model to meet market demand within the country and regionally, while positioning the initiative to compete globally.
- Fully manage the demand analysis process for the core product mix.
- Collaborate with strategic and technical consultancies to create all necessary commercial documentation for engagement with key stakeholders in the maritime sector.
- Establish the industry enablers needed to achieve strategic goals, including human resources, financial structures, supply chain logistics, and facilities.
- Work with government leadership and industry stakeholders to align the strategic direction of the initiative and lead the implementation, involving relevant consultants, legal, financial, and technical experts.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in the maritime industry, with at least five years in a startup joint venture within the maritime manufacturing sector.
- Experience working in the region is preferred.
- Mergers and acquisitions experience.
