The Role

PE Global are recruiting for a Clerical Officer for our client based in Dublin City Centre. This is a 10-month contract role with hybrid working options. Start date ASAP.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administration support to the finance team, to include data entry and maintaining up to date filing
  • Administrative duties relating to public procurement processes
  • Administrative support to the governance team relating to the implementation of the various requirements of the Code of Practice for Governance of State Bodies
  • Support of good data and file management practices throughout the organisation, in line with policies and requirements
  • Preparation and submission of returns to the Department Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media
  • Other administration duties, as required, to support the finance and governance team
  • Providing back-up cover to finance team as required in preparation of the fortnightly accounts payable run and monthly grant payments run to include coordination of invoice approval, management of aged creditors report, updating of ledgers and electronic payments
  • Assisting in the implementation of operational work activities and supporting Line Managers and colleagues
  • Collating data/information for reporting, and report-writing
  • Ensuring high quality customer service, responding to queries and providing

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of one year experience in a governance, administration or financial role
  • Good IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills
