PEGlobal Healthcare is currently looking for a Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology for a fixed term post – 12 months for a prestigious hospital based in Midlands.
The Endocrine service is highly developed in the management of all aspects glandular pathology and is a recognised centre for the sub-speciality of thyroidology with an active monthly thyroid MDT that deals with both benign and malignant thyroid pathology.
The department offers various sub-specialty clinics such as insulin pump clinics, joint ante-natal clinic, diabetes transition service, multi- disciplinary foot clinic etc. We also offer some gender endocrinology and are looking to build this service. Interest in gender endocrinology will be encouraged and appointee offered clinical mentorship from one of the existing consultants.
Qualifications
Hold MRCP ( or equivalent) and Full GMC or Process of GMC
Eligible for entry on Register or within six months of receipt of Certificate of Sponsorship
