PE Global Healthcare is currently looking for a Consultant in Obs & Gynae for a prestigious hospital based in Midlands for a fixed term post
The post holder will be General Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, with specialist skills in gynaecological oncology and colposcopy. The post holder is expected to take a lead in multidisciplinary teaching and training of junior doctors, midwives and nurses in the specialty. The post holder will join the team of consultants providing services to a multi-ethnic and diverse local population within these boroughs.
The post holder will be expected to work across both Obstetrics and Gynaecology working closely with the Obstetrics and Gynaecology leadership team delivering local, regional and national and initiatives in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In addition to providing on call cover for both Obstetrics and Gynaecology, the post holder will be expected to independently run major gynaecological operating lists and lead colposcopy services in compliance with national targets.
Qualification and Professional Training
Essential
- MB BS or Equivalent
- Full GMC Registration, with licence to practice
- MRCOG or Equivalent
- BSCCP Accreditation in Colposcopy
Desirable
- Membership of relevant Specialist Societies or Associations.
- Higher degree eg MSc, MD or equivalent.
- ATSM in Advanced Labour Ward Practice
