I am currently recruiting for a Temporary Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist, Eating Disorders for a regional service, based in St. Canice’s Hospital Kilkenny.

This is an appointment to the HSE Dublin & South East, IHA Carlow Kilkenny South Tipperary, IHA Waterford Wexford MHS for Eating Disorders on a Public Only Consultants’ Contract 2023 by the Health Service Executive for 37 hours per week.

The Consultant will participate in the existing Kilkenny/Carlow/South Tipperary General Adult Consultant on call rota which currently is on a 1:14 basis.

Requirements:

• Valid IMC specialist registration in psychiatry or be eligible for registration.
• Right to work in Ireland. Visas may be available for suitably qualified doctors.
• Access to transport is essential as post will involve frequent travel
• Clinical expertise in the assessment, treatment and management of eating disorders is desirable

Salary range from €226,681 to €272,290
