Consultant in Emergency Medicine

We are currently recruiting for a Consultant in Emergency Medicine.

Interviews are scheduled to take place in November.

Type-B contract on offer with a 37 hour working week.

Duties Involved:

(a)          Act as temporary Consultant Emergency Medicine at the HSE

(b)          To deputise and to supply cover as appropriate for his/her consultant colleagues during short-term absences including weekend and off-duty leave.

(c)          Participate in the development, administration and provision of Emergency services at the HSE 

(d)          Participate fully in the on-call rota at the hospital.

(e)          Provide comprehensive Emergency services for the treatment of all patients at the Hospital.

The above is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all duties involved and consequently, the post holder may be required to perform other duties as appropriate to the post which may be assigned to him/her from time to time and to contribute to the development of the post while in office.

Essential Requirements:

1. Full IMC – Specialist Registration
2. IELTS/OET 
3. Irish or UK experience beneficial but not essential
