Our client specialises in delivering comprehensive data centre solutions from design to construction and commissioning.

Description:

Our client, is a trusted name in the data center industry, renowned for its turnkey solutions and commitment to excellence. With multiple projects ongoing across seven European countries, totaling over 430 MW of IT load, we are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking CSA Construction Manager to join their growing team in Sweden. This role will involve managing the Civil, Structural, and Architectural aspects of our projects, ensuring successful execution and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages.
  • Manage and support the CSA team in delivering the scope of work efficiently.
  • Ensure site safety in collaboration with the Project Manager and Safety Team.
  • Cultivate a culture of Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental awareness within the team.
  • Plan and monitor procurement, design, engineering, and installation aspects for all CSA works.
  • Develop project delivery strategies and support the commercial team in creating ‘Scope of Work’ documents and subcontract packages.
  • Review client designs, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues while protecting the company’s commercial interests.
  • Develop and manage a detailed site plan for Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, including contractor management, Health & Safety, and Quality Assurance/Control.
  • Manage project schedules and liaise with the design team to ensure timely information exchange.
  • Supervise subcontractor activities, monitor progress, and maintain documentation.
  • Conduct weekly progress meetings with CSA supply chain members.
  • Ensure all subcontractor documentation is up-to-date and filed appropriately.
  • Attend various project meetings and manage project close-out activities.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills to resolve design and site challenges.
  • Issue regular reports to the project management team and support commercial meetings for variation management.
  • Review drawings and setting out information, ensuring coordination with MEP services.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Relevant Construction degree qualification or similar.
  • Minimum of 7 years of CSA construction site experience.
  • Strong background in managing CSA work packages.
  • Ability to oversee the entire project while managing technical aspects effectively.
  • Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing.
  • Proven track record in managing internal construction teams.
  • Experience in delivering large-scale projects.
