The Role

PE Global are recruiting for a Digital Content Strategist for our US multinational accommodation services client based in Dublin. This is an 11-month contract role.

Job responsibilities

  • The Digital Content Strategist, European Union shapes, drives and executes digital advocacy and policy engagement efforts across the region.
  • Provide strategic support and advice to the Policy Lead for the EU to ensure the consistency of the EU strategy with Campaigns led across the region.
  • Oversees and develops holistic content strategy and messaging for advocacy and policy, including the development of content standards, best practices and guidelines, advocacy playbooks and templates, in alignment with other functions in the Region (Business, Legal, Comms, Marketing, Polling, etc.). 
  • Develops a data/ narrative-driven social strategy to amplify our EU policy messaging, educate our key audiences and drive activation
  • Project manages the operations for the delivery of the Policy strategic engagement in the EU and is accountable for the associated budget, ensure key initiatives are on track according to the defined time frame
  • Writes and edits action-oriented emails, compelling social media posts and narrative blog posts, oversees design of visual elements such as infographics, videos, photo, reports.
  • Leads and executes social media strategy (targeting, KPI, budget, etc.) 
  • In partnership with the EMEA Community team and local Community POCs, creates and deploys tools to inform and engage hosts on EU policy matters
  • Sets measurement framework of campaigns and provide results
  • Works with the EU Policy team and Campaigns Managers in markets to establish appropriate KPIs; measure, analyse and apply learnings from digital advocacy, social and web.
  • Gather insights between polling and messaging, ensuring that all in-market and other content produced incorporates poll tested language and learnings to optimize content

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors’ degree in e.g., Marketing, Digital Marketing, Journalism
  • 6 + years’ exp creating content – Websites, social, digital, email and other online assets
  • Political experience is strongly preferred
  • Project Management proven skills
  • Experience creating content in Adobe Creative Suite (i.e.; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, and/or Lightroom)
  • Graphic design, photography, videography, and/or editing skills is preferred
  • Workflow Management: Opal, Asana preferred
  • Travel across Europe shall be expected 30% of the time.
