The Role

PE Global are recruiting for an Program Executive (Education) for our client based in Dublin. This is an 11-month contract role. Hybrid working.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Play a critical role in the delivery of the mission and will be passionate about Ireland having an engaged and scientifically informed public and about empowering broader participation in STEM research.
  • Delivery of Education and Public Engagement programmes, campaigns and projects that engage young people and the general public with STEM.
  • Development and management of Education and Public Engagement (EPE) funding programme calls, reviews and reporting.
  • Line management and mentorship of staff, Fellows or Interns.
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders, including funded awardees, national partners and international expert reviewers.
  • Facilitating and supporting effective assessment and evaluation of programmes.
  • Undertaking Communications and PR actions to support the delivery of projects.
  • Managing and coordinating events – launches, announcements, public events, seminars.
  • Assisting with website content development.
  • Contributing, where appropriate, to the overall strategic planning processes.
  • Undertaking any other duties that may be required from time to time.

Experience and Education

  • Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of four years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience in event management desired
  • Knowledge and experience of, and a passion for, Education and Public Engagement programmes or projects.
  • Proven experience of project management from ideation, to design and delivery of projects or funding calls.
  • Experience of delivering projects with multiple stakeholder input.
  • Proven ability of building effective relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrable initiative to drive projects to delivery.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and deliver completed projects to deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational, financial and administrative skills.
