PE Global Healthcare is looking for Junior Clinical Fellow doctors in Elderly care for a University hospital in England
The Elderly Care Team aims to help patients recover from the condition that brought them into hospital while also dealing with their other health and social issue. The team includes doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers. We also work closely with many other hospital and community teams, including mental health and palliative care.
The post holder will join the Geriatrics team with a unique and innovative Acute Frailty Unit that is among the first in the country to operate an independent Rapid Assessment and Focused Treatment (Rafting) model outside an ED environment.
The successful post-holder would support the development and clinical transformation of our busy Care of Elderly faculty through the extremely busy frailty pathway. We have opportunities for individuals who are looking to develop their skills at a higher level relating to the complex range of cases seen through a large number of acutely unwell elderly patients. This post will provide an excellent opportunity for educational development in General Medicine.
