Here in PE Global we are delighted to have partnered with a leading main contractor to recruit a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join the team. This is an exciting, full time, permanent opportunity.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing construction company who has various residential projects located in Cork City & County. This role will provide you with excellent experience to enable you to progress your career.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Assist the Quantity Surveyor with the completion of monthly CVR’s/Cashflows for projects.
• Assist the Quantity Surveyor with the preparation of Cost Plans & BoQ’s.
• Assist with the preparation of sub-contractors packages.
• Prepare monthly payment certs for subcontractor payments including liasing with the subcontractor and Bridgewater’s finance department.
• Assist with the preparation of preliminary Budgets for Projects.
• Adhoc duties.
Requirements
• BSc in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in the construction industry desired
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Office & IT skills.
• Flexibility with the ability to prioritise work effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a Team.
Salary and package negotiable depending on experience.
