PE Global are partnered with a leading Data Centre construction organisation focused on sustainable construction in the industry. They are currently recruiting for a LEED AP / BREEAM AP to join the team in Dublin.
This organisation is looking for a skilled Sustainability Specialist with expertise in managing LEED projects to lead sustainability initiatives across all stages of data centre projects.
The ideal candidate must hold a LEED AP credential (mandatory), with additional qualifications such as WELL AP, ASHRAE 90.1 energy modelling, or similar certifications strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage LEED certification processes for data centre projects from planning through certification.
- Ensure compliance with LEED requirements across all project phases, including design, construction, and commissioning.
- Collaborate closely with design, construction, and operations teams to integrate sustainable practices.
- Provide technical guidance on LEED v4/v4.1 criteria, focusing on energy efficiency, water use, and materials.
- Lead energy modelling using ASHRAE 90.1 to optimize building performance and achieve energy credits.
- Support efforts for WELL certification and other relevant sustainable building certifications.
- Coordinate documentation, including Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), energy models, and material credits.
- Review subcontractor compliance with LEED and sustainability documentation requirements.
- Keep abreast of industry best practices, building codes, and green building certifications.
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams and subcontractors on sustainability goals, LEED requirements, and energy modelling.
Qualifications:
Mandatory: LEED AP accreditation (BD+C or O+M).
Highly Preferred:
- WELL AP certification.
- Expertise in energy modelling following ASHRAE 90.1 standards.
- Experience with other sustainability certifications (e.g., Fitwel, SITES).
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing sustainability and LEED projects.
- Proven ability to guide projects through all phases of LEED certification.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, energy modelling, and sustainable materials.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
