PE Global is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer for a leading multi-national Med Device client based in Limerick.
This is an initial 12-month contract position with a primary responsibility to provide engineering support to a production engineering team in the area of injection moulding.
ROLE:
- Support equipment improvement projects from specification to implementation via change control processes in a validated environment.
- Specification of change control documentation.
- Supporting root cause investigation of production issues by application of technical problem-solving skills and methods.
- Ensures that moulding equipment meets company specifications, schedules and budgets
- Lead or actively participate in cross-functional teams to ensure area KPIs are maintained.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and a clear identifiable work ethos within the team.
- Work with team leader to develop and implement strategic engineering Goals & Objectives.
- All employees are responsible for minimizing both the Environmental and Health & Safety effects of the work that they perform
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Engineering Manufacturing/Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electronics / Electrical /Automation or Polymer science or similar disciplines
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or similar controlled production environment.
- 2 years relevant industrial experience
- Ability to manage multiple assignments or projects with sound analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Flexible work ethic
- Strong influencing skills
- Experience of working in compliance with quality systems.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Problem solving skills
