Material Handlers : Experience in a similar role is essential. Responsible for the incoming and outgoing materials, reagents, instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations, which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control.

Forklift experience and/or license essential. Possibility of re certification.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • May have responsibility for fulfilment administration and processes.
  • Responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping inventory orders.
  • Working in a team environment, the person will plan, organise and prioritise daily tasks.
  • Accurately record all inventory transactions using inventory management systems.
  • Proactively identify, highlight and address potential issues or hazards – Health & Safety.
  • Loading and unloading materials.
  • Comply with company safety policies, including safe equipment operation, PPE usage, hand tool safety, lock-out-tag-out, and proper storage of tools, etc.
  • Maintain equipment according to work instructions or preventive maintenance tasks; some equipment troubleshooting.
  • Perform cycle counting and other inventory tasks, including material handling.
  • Maintain visual management of material storage; have a clean and organised work area.
  • Work with our Buyer/Planner and Production to prioritise workload and equipment schedule to meet internal and external demand.


Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in a modern warehousing environment is desirable.
  • Experience with manual and/or clerical duties that may utilise various systems involved in receiving and preparing materials for shipment.
  • Experience Coordinating and monitoring workflow, assisting in scheduling and prioritising activities in the assigned distribution area.
  • Maintains compliance with relevant local, country and international guidelines.
  • Performs various planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks supporting the manufacturing workflow.

This role is on a Monday to Friday rotating shift roster, 36/48 hours per week, €15.95 per hour.
