We are currently offering exciting roles within a state of the art Medical Device facility. These roles are entry level opportunities that offer career progression for the right candidate on joining a large and growing company based in the Dublin 15 area.

Candidates after starting will have the chance to gain invaluable skills with the option of promotion/career development. These roles involve the manufacture, production and shipping of life saving technology. Other duties include machine operation, loading/unloading, product bagging, labelling, packaging, quality checks and documentation. Candidates must work extremely well in a team, with strong IT skills, documentation experience & being dependable.

Candidates will be offered 11 month fixed term contract with a view to becoming a permanent operator. These roles require candidates to follow a set roster, involving working both day and night shift upon completion of a great training programme.

 

***We have two distinct roles Production Operator or Logistics Operator currently on offer.***

 

Key Tasks:

Operating high powered moulding machines for injection moulding production

Packing/Packaging of completed items

Carrying out visual quality inspections, metrology and traceability documentation

Being responsible for reviewing and signing off on batch manufacturing records

Meeting targets whilst working in a high volume/fast paced manufacturing environment

Recording machine shot counts, press scrap, machine cycle time and daily production volumes

Completing part counts by weighing, setting of scales and verification of scale accuracy.

Ensuring that correct raw materials are being used at each moulding machine

Keep work areas in a clean and orderly manner by practicing good housekeeping.

 

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

Candidates will ideally have previous experience working in a controlled clean room environment and/or willing to work within one again.

Wearing gown, cap and relevant personal protective equipment. Following onsite covid policies around same.

Candidates must be willing to work on a 4 shift basis, the company will operate 24 hours/day & 7 days/week.

Must have good verbal reasoning, numerate ability and mechanical aptitude skills.

Must have good communication skills, both written and oral.
