PE Global Healthcare is recruiting for Professionally Qualified Social Workers (PQSWs) for  services in South Dublin to join a multidisciplinary mental health teams providing high-quality, recovery-focused care across community and inpatient settings.

1. Professionally Qualified Social Worker (PQSW)

1.0 WTE – Fixed Term (6 Months) – Maternity Leave Cover

Based across:

• Churchtown Primary Care Centre
• St Vincent’s University Hospital inpatient mental health unit

This role forms part of the Adult Mental Health Service, supporting individuals experiencing a range of mental health difficulties within both community and acute inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments and interventions.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary mental health teams.
• Support service users and families through advocacy, care planning and discharge planning.
• Participate in safeguarding, risk assessment and crisis intervention where required.
• Liaise with statutory, voluntary and community agencies to ensure integrated care pathways.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with professional and organisational standards.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold a recognised qualification in Social Work.
• Be registered with CORU or eligible for registration.
• Have a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience desirable, preferably within mental health services.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Be committed to recovery-oriented and person-centred practice.
