PE Global is currently recruiting for a Technical Specialist – Micro for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in Cork.
This is a 12 month contract position.
Role:
- Provide technical direction for the Lab Ops Microbiology team on day-to-day issues
- Ensure compliance to all relevant procedures and practices and ensure recommended improvements are implemented.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and lead investigations through scientific problem-solving approaches.
- Partner with cross functional groups to support change management to implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with site EHS policy, cGMP and other business regulations and participate in risk assessments, audits, regulatory inspections and incident investigations.
- Ensure the highest Quality, Compliance and Safety standards by participating and complying with our Manufacturing Division Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, including ownership, as relevant.
- Lead problem solving teams across all areas of the IPT (e.g. reliability, Safety, Quality (e.g. Deviation Management, etc).
- Lead and close process related deviations and reports.
Requirements:
- 4+ years’ experience in a pharmaceutical or a highly regulated environment preferably with cGMP experience
- Experience in any of the following is an advantage:
– Microbiology operational support
– Contamination control
– Process improvement
