Order Picking / Packaging Operative

PE Global are looking for a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker who will be responsible for picking, packing, processing and shipping of electronics orders. The successful candidate will also work closely with the goods inwards team and the returns dept. The warehouse team includes goods in, pick, pack & dispatch teams. The overall team goal will be to process all orders in a timely and accurate manner to help the team to achieve maximum targets.

This roles is based in Fonthill, Dublin 22

Candidates will need manual handling cert and a willingness to learn.

3 to 6 months warehouse or order picking experience would be a strong advantage.

These roles are available on both agency contract or perm contract for limited number.  

Candidates will need to hold as a minimum:

• Manual Handling Cert
• 6 months warehouse experience

Main Duties:

• Loading and offloading trucks / preparing orders / other general warehouse duties.
• This is not an exhaustive list of duties, you may be asked to tidy, clean and clear away excess packaging. 

Duties

Work with goods in department when necessary

Printing of orders

Preparing product for stocking, following set company procedures

Picking & packing of orders in an accurate manner

Work with the Shipping dept to help ship orders

Work closely with team to resolve any order issues

Daily cycle counting process

Good housekeeping

Any other work the warehouse manager or company requires

Requirements

Ability to create and maintain good relationships with all team members

Detailed Oriented Individual

Must be capable of working independently

Ability to work professionally and competently

Disciplined and organised work style

Ability to utilize computers for inventory, record keeping, information etc.

Be proficient in Microsoft Office

Must be a people person with strong communications skills

Must be able to take and follow instructions effectively

Manual Handling training

Be available for Overtime when required.
