The Role

PE Global are recruiting for a Patient Access Specialist for our pharmaceutical client based in Leopardstown, Dublin. This is an 11-month contract role. Hybrid working options.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide project management support to the Patient Access function related to:
  • Development of Rapid Review and HTA submissions
  • Completion of Horizon Scanning requirements
  • Pricing applications
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and medical affairs colleagues to support same projects
  • Collaborate with UK HTA and Outcomes Research team to understand economic models and related data requirements
  • Gather and assess data for inclusion in required submissions
  • Undertake special projects/assignments on an ad-hoc basis in support of submission development e.g. Burden of Illness, Costing studies
  • Keep up to date and provide expertise on technical requirements and the environment as it relates to medicines reimbursement
  • Support internal pricing processes and analysis
  • Support third party vendor management

Education and Experience

  • Masters in pharmaco-economics, health economics or related field.
  • Experience in Access/ health economics / outcomes research environment would be an advantage but also experience in pharmaceutical business management. 
  • Broad understanding of the processes related to access and pricing in Ireland
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.   
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written. 
  • Ability to work well within a cross-functional team and coordinate a number of projects for different parts of the business simultaneously.
