Plumbing Supervisor

PE Global are currently recruiting for a Plumbing supervisor for a contractor developing state of the residential and commercial projects in Dublin.

About the Company:
Our client is a well-known and reputable Mechanical Engineering company based in Dublin, specializing in large-scale residential and commercial projects. Due to ongoing growth and a strong pipeline of high-profile projects, they are seeking a skilled Plumbing Supervisor to join their team on a high-rise residential project in Dublin.

Role Overview:
The Plumbing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all plumbing activities on-site, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The successful candidate will manage a team of plumbers and subcontractors, coordinating with other trades and project stakeholders to deliver the project on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all plumbing installation and maintenance activities on the high-rise residential project.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems within the overall project scope.
• Monitor work quality, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Manage and schedule a team of plumbers and subcontractors, ensuring optimal resource allocation and productivity.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, including daily reports, timesheets, and material requisitions.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and project progress.
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on site, conducting risk assessments and tool box talks as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Assist with the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets, providing input on labor and material requirements.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a plumbing supervisory role, ideally within high-rise residential or large-scale construction projects.
• Relevant plumbing qualifications, with additional certifications in health and safety preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Full clean driving license.
