Principal Psychologist

PE Global Healthcare is partnering with a new service based in Kildare and is recruiting a Principal Psychologist for a full-time permanent role.

In this role you will be heading up the psychology department, it will be a mix of clinical and managerial work, assisting the clinical director with future hires for the department.

You will deliver targeted interventions using neurofeedback technology to support patients with neurological, psychological, and developmental conditions.

This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating neurofeedback therapy schedules to enhance patients’ cognitive, sensory, and emotional functioning.

Ideal Candidate:

• Fully qualified psychologist with full PSI membership or validation if your qualification was obtained outside of Ireland.
• Minimum 5 years experience, working in assessments and interventions working with patients to improve their sensory and emotional function.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of neurofeedback therapy principles, techniques, and equipment.
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess patient needs and adjust therapy approaches.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in the field.
