Shift Workers required for Contract Manufacturing Company

11 month fixed term contract based in Dublin 15, roles come with planned permanency. Hourly rate for production when on shift  €15.23 and for Logistics €19.12 when on shift. These roles will require candidates to work a four cycle shift pattern. Previous experience of working Day/Night shift roster a distinct advantage. All contracts will initially be on a 6 month basis. Possible extension up to 11 months with planned permanency thereafter. 

Candidates after starting will have the chance to gain invaluable skills with the option of promotion/career development. These roles involve the manufacture, production and shipping of life saving technology. Other duties include machine operation, loading/unloading, product bagging, labelling, packaging, quality checks and documentation. Candidates must work extremely well in a team, with strong IT skills, documentation experience & being dependable.

Candidates will need fluency in English, a verifiable work history & a desire to develop a career in the Medical Device sector. 

Experience of working in a GMP environment and/or adhering to SOP is essential. The ability to follow instruction to the letter is a must.

Due to the nature/type of production candidates will need to excel at working as a part of a team. Candidates will need to be able to work to a number of deadlines at once and excel at working as a part of a team. Remain calm under pressure etc.

Must have good verbal reasoning, numerate ability and mechanical aptitude skills.

Must have good communication skills, both written and oral.

Key Tasks:

Operating high powered moulding machines for injection moulding production

Packing/Packaging of completed items

Carrying out visual quality inspections, metrology and traceability documentation

Being responsible for reviewing and signing off on batch manufacturing records

Meeting targets whilst working in a high volume/fast paced manufacturing environment

Recording machine shot counts, press scrap, machine cycle time and daily production volumes

Completing part counts by weighing, setting of scales and verification of scale accuracy.

Ensuring that correct raw materials are being used at each moulding machine

Keep work areas in a clean and orderly manner by practicing good housekeeping.

 

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

Ideally candidates will ideally have previous experience working in a controlled clean room environment and/or willing to work within one again. But we are open to candidates upskilling or moving from food and other types of production.

Candidates will need to be comfortable wearing gown, cap and relevant personal protective equipment. Following onsite policies around same.

Due to training constraints we can not facilitate any holidays booked for first 3 months Candidate must have full eligibility to work in Ireland without a limit on weekly hours.

Client is not in a position to accept applicants on Stamp 1 or Stamp 1G currently.

We can not provide sponsorship nor can we allow for relocation periods.

Candidates must currently hold a valid EU Passport, Stamp 4 or “Permission to Access Work Force”. Candidates must have at least 3 to 6 months left on visa/stamp or permission. We can not provide assistance with Visa / Sponsorship.
