As a leader in the Green Tech industry, who is a growing, dynamic and innovative business with ambitious growth plans. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Team Leader to join the Timber frame team.
The successful applicant will report to the Shift Manager and have responsibility for the production operations and quality standards in the manufacturing of timber frame kits.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage the quality systems and standards on site.
- Ensure quality control systems and checks are applied
- Support the people management of the team with Shift Maanger – recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement amongst the team
- Responsible for health, safety and wellbeing of personnel.
- Ensure documentation relating to timber frame production and loading is accurate
- Maintain overall cleanliness of the timber frame and storage areas
- Manage overtime, timekeeping and attendance of the team
- Liaise with maintenance to ensure tasks are completed
- Ensure stock system and stock rotation is in order
- Organise haulage / dispatch of loads
Requirements
- Experience of timber frame manufacturing
- Experience with automated machinery
- Ability to read and understand architectural/engineering drawings.
- Strong analytic/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Enthusiastic & self-motivated and ability to motivate the team.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
