The Role

PE Global are recruiting for a Project Coordinator – Energy Systems for our energy client based in Dublin CC. This is a 10-month contract role, with hybrid working options.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Programme Manager in the delivery of CEG contracts.
  • Provide support and guidance to communities who wish to make grant applications.
  • Support the delivery of national energy policy actions including the Climate Action Plan.
  • Directly engage with clients and groups and represent at events, meetings, and workshops.
  • Support the development and delivery of targeted community energy grant supports.
  • Collaborate across the community energy and retrofit teams in the delivery of grants for communities.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders including service providers.
  • Partner across organisation and with Service Providers to ensure continuous improvement of delivery process.
  • Develop, review, and maintain standard documents and communications.
  • Partnership with other teams to ensure effective leverage of CEG Programme across organisation.
  • Conduct ongoing organisational tasks including website updates, handling Programme inquiries and general programme administration

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of Level 7 Qualification on the National Framework Qualifications (NFQ) in environment, engineering, science, or other relevant discipline or demonstrated relevant work experience.
  • Minimum four years’ experience of working in this or a related area.
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Good understanding of European and national energy policy.
  • Good understanding of community engagement and policies
  • Strong project management and organisation skills and knowledge of business process management.
  • Well-developed IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A capacity to foster a positive working relationship with colleagues and external stakeholders; to work in multi-disciplinary teams and to network effectively.
  • Flexible approach to problem solving and decision making to ensure the best solution is achieved focusing on the need for greater efficiency and effective delivery.
  • Ability to ensure that decisions are strategically aligned with the Programme.
  • Strong proactive approach to achieving results, including managing scope, time, risk assessment, cost, and quality.
  • Good understanding of building retrofit opportunities (fabric, renewables etc)
