Purpose of the Role:

The Sales and Marketing Executive is responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue goals, increase market share and enhance the company’s reputation in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with corporate clients.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue goals and increase market share
  • Identify and prospect for new corporate accounts, while maintaining and nurturing existing accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients through regular communication, meetings, and entertainment
  • Negotiate and close contracts with corporate clients
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and strategies to attract corporate clients
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote the company’s services
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of corporate events and meetings
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s services and offerings
  • Travel and represent the hotel at local, national and international events

  

Requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate sales, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals and building relationships with corporate clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
