PE Global is currently recruiting for a Sales Manager role for a leading multi-national Biotech client for an initial 12 month contract. Fully remote within the UK.

The Oncology Therapy Area Lead is a customer-facing sales & account management role. This requires understanding & collaboration with healthcare professionals to drive clinical advocacy & belief, ensuring rapid uptake of our innovative medicines. They partner with key customers, build sustainable relationships and use Customer insights to develop strategies and solutions to address unmet and/or evolving needs within the Oncology therapeutic area. This is a promotional role engaging with a variety of external stakeholders to drive behaviour change.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of a sales team
  • Identify, establish and maintain strategic personal relationships with industry figures.
  • Plan and execute tactics and promotions with the goal of maximizing the sales potential of the company’s range of products. This will involve actual project management, particularly of new products.
  • Liaise closely with logistics, customer service and production to ensure efficient supply chain management.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships with customers, producers, and staff.
  • Develop and maintain sound working relationships with customers.


  • Proven track record in strategic analysis utilising a number of different resources, Excel, Access, SAS etc.
  • Proven project management and strategic Management experience, ideally with specific experience in the following disciplines: Sales, Marketing, Project Management and Budgetary Control.
  • A proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets and achieving deadlines to achieve business goals.
  • Demonstrable ability to (self) develop a deep understanding of business practices and develop own skills.
  • Thorough expertise of Sales, with a proven track record, and a knowledge of Marketing and Data Analytics functions.
  • Able to communicate confidently and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Full and extensive knowledge of the Global Business Solutions B2B business.
  • Working knowledge of Global Business Solutions drivers, industry dynamics (such as interchange), competitor solutions and future product service deliverables.
  • A relevant degree/business qualification.
