The Role

PE Global are recruiting for a Scientific Project Officer for our client based in Dublin CC. This is a 9–12-month contract role. Hybrid working options.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Managing the process of evaluation of EPE components of applications including identification of EPE reviewers, drafting of reports and review and evaluation of reports and data.
  • Managing the process of monitoring of EPE components of applications and funded awards including identification of EPE reviewers for site-reviews, drafting of reports and review and evaluation of reports and data.
  • Attendance and participation, including drafting of meeting summaries, in site reviews and panel meetings.
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including funded awardees, national partners and international expert reviewers.
  • Facilitating and supporting effective assessment and evaluation of programmes.
  • Facilitation of EPE manager networks, as required.
  • Assisting with website content development.
  • Contributing, where appropriate, to the overall strategic planning processes.
  • Undertaking any other duties that may be required from time to time.

 

 

Experience and Education

  • A Masters in a relevant STEM research discipline or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of four years’ relevant experien
  • Knowledge and experience of, and a passion for, Education and Public Engagement programmes or projec
  • Proven experience of project management. Candidates will be required to demonstrate examples of where they have played key roles in delivering projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability in building effective relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrable initiative to drive projects to delivery.
  • Ability to represent credibly and effectively in external fora.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and deliver high quality completed projects to tight deadlines;
  • Excellent organisational, financial and administrative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
