PE Global is currently recruiting an Analog Design Engineer to join a prominent worldwide player in delivering optical communication systems and transmitters/receivers.
This is a permanent position. The role is also being offered on a remote basis from within Ireland.
Duties of the role/Responsibilities
- Designing high-speed analog circuits, including TIAs, limiting amplifiers, comparators, and drivers.
- Employing techniques for designing low noise and low distortion circuits.
- Working with components like photodiodes, LEDs, and RCLEDs.
- Crafting interface circuitry such as 50 ohm I/O circuits, LVDS, PECL, CML, and more.
- Hands-on experience with foundry processes from TSMC, UMC, XFAB, and similar providers.
- Knowledge of design tools like Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Graphics, and others.
- Skilled programming capability in languages like C, C++, Verilog, Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, Python, and Visual Basic.
Education/Experience
- 6+ years of Analog IC Design experience.
