Skilled Packaging Operative

PE Global Recruitment currently have vacancies for meat packaging operatives across our Client’s sites in Cork, Cavan, Roscommon, Westmeath, Longford, Meath and Clare. These roles are permanent and paying above market award rates. 

Role Description

You will be required to work as part of the packaging team in the boning hall factory, to vacuum pack meat through a specialized machine, also to label and box the product. From time to time you will be required to clean and assist with the sanitation of machines.

You will be required to carry out cleaning when the production line is quieter, so experience of cleaning is an advantage.

The successful candidates will work as part of the factory processing / packaging team producing meat to fulfil production targets on a daily and weekly basis.

Successful candidates will be required to work in all areas of the factory where you will be required to:

• Work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Standard working week 39 hours
• Meet production targets.
• Will be required to work across all areas of the meat processing plant.
• This is a physical role including lifting and standing.
