Specialty Doctor in Urology
Applicants are invited for the above full time Urological specialty doctor post.The post is a new, whole-time Specialty Doctor post in Urological Surgery, designed to support the consultants at the Trust.
The department is well recognized for the comprehensive high quality urological services including complex laparoscopic surgery. It is also a highly sought after placement for the trainees of the region for the high quality training it provides
The post will be mainly clinical with some academic commitments. The post includes service commitments in outpatients and also offers plenty of supervised theatre sessions. The post includes a 1:9 on-call commitment. Successful candidates will also be expected to be the lead in several research projects and actively participate in teaching and audit. This is an initial 12 month post (extendable to 24 months).
Qualifications
Full GMC registration or in Process of GMC
MRCS/FRCS or equivalent
