Position Summary:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the candidate will work as part of a dedicated team supporting our customers’ requirements. The candidate will be responsible for the management of the day to day team’s activities and leading a team of operatives.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supervision of the Eir fulfilment team to ensure that all customers are serviced in line with Fulfilment SLA
• Adjust daily work schedules to meet fulfilment demands as dictated by customer
• Provide team leader support for across all functions within the warehouse operation when required
• Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities and cycle counts
• Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices
• People management responsibilities including training, planning and assigning daily work
• Maintain Time and Attendance system, holiday planning
• Recommend measures to improve quality of service and increase efficiency of department
• Continuously improve fulfilment operations through the use of lean enterprise practices
• Manage process and material flows to maximize utilization of the warehouse
• Maintain and promote the highest standards of health and safety throughout the operation
• Maintain and promote standards to the highest level within the department through the involvement of all team members
• Other ad hoc duties as

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Prior knowledge of operations and warehouse management
• Experience using SAP would be a distinct advantage
• Current Reach Truck & Counterbalance licence is desirable
• Previous experience in a supervisory capacity in a distribution/Fulfilment environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task if required
• Works well under pressure
