Saudi Arabia Clinical Nurse Specialist- Wound Care

PE Global Healthcare is currently working with a prestigious hospital in Saudi Arabia who is looking to recruit Clinical Nurse Specialist – Wound Care

Job responsibilities and performance expectations:

• Act as an expert consultant for patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence issues.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with abdominal stomas, wounds, and continence concerns.
• Perform debridement of devitalized tissue and manage wound care techniques.
• Educate patients and caregivers on skin care, wound management, and ostomy care.
• Preoperatively mark stoma sites and assess stoma functioning, recommending appropriate care and pouching systems.
• Provide education on stoma and peristomal skin care and identify signs requiring physician attention.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans and interventions accordingly.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement patient care plans and meet rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor wound healing progress, recommending changes in care procedures as necessary.
• Educate healthcare professionals on current guidelines and best practices in WOC care.
• Assist in developing and evaluating care standards, procedures, and policies.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Guide patients on selecting and using appropriate pouching systems and accessories.
• Provide outpatient services, including home healthcare support.
• Coordinate discharge plans, follow-up visits, and referrals for home health services as needed.

Education
A minimum of 3 years, either an International Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience
At least 2 years of clinical midwifery experience post-licensure/registration in the country of origin, including a minimum of 1 year in a Labor & Delivery Care unit.

Certifications/Other Requirements

• Current licensure as a professional registered nurse.
• Must be a registered midwife in the home country.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required. Fluency in spoken Arabic is Desirable
