Senior Mental Health Occupational Therapist

PE Global is working with one of Irelands leading leading private healthcare providers and we are recruiting for a Senior Mental Health Occupational Therapist, based in Meath.

Qualification:

• Hold a Degree/Master’s in Occupational Therapy from a 3rd level institution offering a programme of study accredited by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.  
• Be registered with CORU or show proof of pending registration at the application stage. 

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of the Judgement Support Framework and experience supporting compliance with the same.
• Knowledge of individual care planning and experience contributing to individual risk assessment

Experience:

• Post-qualification work experience working in forensic mental health services. 
• Have at least three years relevant post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in adult mental health services 
• Experience in developing and running therapeutic services and programmes, including occupation-based and psycho-educational groups 
• Experience working with individuals with complex mental health presentations  
• Evidence of a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
