The Role

PE Global are recruiting for a Data Entry Specialist for our biopharmaceutical client based in Dublin 15. This is an initial 12 -month contract role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides support to ensure timely availability of process data in an electronic format from paper source (Manufacturing Batch Record)
  • Ensures data availability to support process monitoring, troubleshooting and investigation activities
  • Ensures digitalization of the data and timely delivery to other teams for data reconciliation and approval
  • Proactively identifies and facilitates resolution of obstacles to timely completion
  • Liaises with Manufacturing Sciences & Technology, Manufacturing, Quality organizations for data entry activities
  • Additional job functions include manipulating existing data files, editing information that has previously been compiled, verification of new entries within the database for accuracy, creating forms/pages for data entry as required and data mining completed Manufacturing Batch Records when necessary
  • Support the Continued Process Verification (CPV) program
  • Work on projects related to CPV program maintenance, improvements and implementation

Educations & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Science or equivalent degree preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel is a must
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of data management and ability to work with different data sources across different platforms
  • Perform hands-on analysis of large volumes of data
  • Easily pick up new technology
  • Able to learn quickly working with new databases and create forms for data entry
  • Experience in manual data entry from Manufacturing documentation to electronic systems
  • Knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations is preferred
