As Tier 1 suppliers, PE Global Healthcare is looking to recruit a sonographer for our client in the Drogheda area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about delivering high standards of clinical excellence in a supportive healthcare environment.

Requirements

• BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (or equivalent recognized certification).
• CORU registration (or eligibility to register, if applying in Ireland) / HCPC registration (if in the UK).
• Minimum of 1–2 years’ clinical experience as a Sonographer preferred, but newly qualified candidates will also be considered.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, vascular, and small parts imaging (depending on experience).
• Ensure the accurate acquisition and interpretation of diagnostic images.
• Maintain detailed and precise patient records and reports.
• Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to support diagnostic and treatment decisions.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Provide a compassionate and reassuring service to patients, maintaining dignity and confidentiality.
• Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) and quality assurance activities.
