PE Global Healthcare are delighted to assist their client to recruit a CNM 3 for an acute hospital in Cork

Role

• This is a permanent full time role.
• Part of a team of 5 CNM 3’s
• support of Don and ADON and team of NCHDs at night
• 37.5 hours a week – 3 * 7 – 7 or 8 – 8 shifts, every 4th week a shorter shift to make up the 37.5 hours per week in the month
• Nights and weekends on rotation – 1 week in every 4 / 5 

CNM 3 Duties

• Participate in the management of and be responsible for the day to day service of clinical care within area of responsibility.
• Planning, directing and coordinating the activities of the service delivery.
• Supervise and coordinate and lead a team of staff in the implementation and provision of the highest quality patient care.
• Act as a role model by promoting best practice in the delivery of nursing care and provide clinical expertise and support within the inter disciplinary team.
• Support, assist and facilitate colleagues in achieving specific Critical Success Factors as developed for the ward/unit/department.

Candidate Requirements

• Current registration with NMBI
• Strong values and commitment to patient Safety & Quality
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a people management role essential
• Minimum 5 years post graduate acute care nursing experience.
• Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills
• Management Qualification essential.
• ACLS course completed, or be willing to undertake
