PE Global Healthcare in partnership with our client a Private Hospital based in Co. Cork are inviting applicants to apply for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager 3 on a full time permanent basis

Overview :

The CNM3 will be part of a team of 5 CNM 3’s and supported by the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing and a team of NCHDs at night.

Hours :
37.5 hours a week and made up of 3 x 1 hour shifts as well as nights and weekends on rotation – 1 week in every 4 / 5 

Duties include :

• Participate in the management of and be responsible for the day to day service of clinical care within area of responsibility.
• Planning, directing and coordinating the activities of the service delivery.
• Supervise and coordinate and lead a team of staff in the implementation and provision of the highest quality patient care.
• Act as a role model by promoting best practice in the delivery of nursing care and provide clinical expertise and support within the inter disciplinary team.
• Support, assist and facilitate colleagues in achieving specific Critical Success Factors as developed for the ward/unit/department.

Candidate Requirements

• Current registration with NMBI.
• Strong values and commitment to patient Safety & Quality.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a people management role essential.
• Minimum 5 years post graduate acute care nursing experience.
• Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills.
• Management Qualification essential.
• ACLS course completed, or be willing to undertake.
