EHS Engineer

PE Global is currently recruiting for an EHS Engineer for a leading multi-national Biotech client based in Sligo.

This is an initial 12-month contract position that will work closely with Engineering, Project teams and contractors to identify and manage EHS and process-safety risks through design, construction, commissioning and project execution.

ROLE:

• Strong technical/engineering capability with the ability to interpret P&IDs, PFDs, equipment layouts and engineering drawings.
• Demonstrated experience in process safety, technical risk assessment, HAZOP/PHA and design safety reviews.
• Strong experience supporting capital projects and contractor management, including RAMS, Permit-to-Work, LOTO, line breaking and other high-risk activities.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving skills, with experience investigating complex EHS or technical issues.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to technically challenge contractors and engineering teams and translate complex risks into practical solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in a relevant discipline
• 5+ years experience within EHS on projects, construction upgrades.
