PE Global is currently recruiting for IT Analyst for a leading multi-national medical device client based in Limerick.

This is a contract position.

Role:

We’re on the lookout for a passionate innovator for a global multinational company based in Limerick.
You will be working on a critical global inspection and verification platform for our MedTech business. The platform is being deployed to the cloud using Azure and Kubernetes while it’s front-end leverages a low code development platform, Mendix. You will be working with the wider team to build the platform’s necessary interfaces and develop robust infrastructure tooling and services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust infrastructure tooling and services using Go (Golang).
• Proven experience in automating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain integrations with multiple Services.
• Work with RabbitMQ and other messaging systems as part of distributed system workflows.
• Contribute to code reviews, participate in architecture design discussions, and help shape infrastructure best practices.
• Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools while ensuring alignment with security and compliance standards.

Required Skills and Experience:
• 4–5 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on Golang (experience in other languages with a willingness to work in Go is also welcome).
• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly with services like AKS and related cloud-native offerings.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins or ArgoCD, and a deep understanding of modern DevOps methodologies.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Comfortable working in Linux-based environments, with scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or similar.
