About the Role

As a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist, you will:

  • Deliver evidence-based, family-centred assessment and intervention programmes.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions within a modern clinic environment.
  • Work collaboratively within an experienced multidisciplinary team.
  • Support children with a range of developmental needs, including autism spectrum disorder and Down syndrome.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences and service development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate electronic clinical records.
  • Deliver parent education and training sessions where appropriate.
  • Contribute to CPD, quality improvement and clinical governance activities.

Senior therapists will also provide clinical supervision and mentoring to junior colleagues.

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • A recognised Degree in Speech & Language Therapy.
  • Current CORU Registration (essential).
  • Membership of IASLT (or eligibility).
  • Ideally 1+ years’ paediatric experience, although newly qualified therapists are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with children with additional needs is desirable.
  • Full driving licence (essential) and access to a vehicle for occasional school or community visits.
