PE Global is currently recruiting for a Quality Assistant for a leading multi-national Healthcare client based in Dublin.

This is an 11 month contract position.

Role:

Front end sample preparation routine lysing and cleaning DNA.

Sample registering and scanning of samples.

Making buffers when required.

Quality control of incoming samples.

Responsibilities:

• Completion of daily sample registration and reconciliation of same with electronic data
• Prepare buffers, materials as required for analytical procedures
• General Housekeeping
• Assisting routine processing of test samples and associated electronic information
• Lysing and cleaning DNA samples
• Scanning of sample
• Sample quality checks

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Science Biology or Molecular Biology
• Experience in using multi-channel pipettes
• Previous experience in an ISO accredited laboratory
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Familiarity with a manufacturing or production line environment
• Ability to work independently and to daily targets
• Experience in DNA clean up and preparation preferred, not essential
