Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled & detail oriented Senior Associate to act as the SAP Subject Matter Expert for warehouse and dispensary operations. The successful candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of SAP, particularly in warehouse and plant managed inventory, and should be proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting. This role is central to ensuring inventory accuracy, leading inventory audits, configuring SAP for optimal storage management, and driving data driven decisions through strong analytical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary SAP SME for inventory related processes in the warehouse and provide expert guidance on SAP transactions and master data issues.
- Maintain and troubleshoot SAP inventory movements (goods receipts / issues, transfer postings, scrapping, etc.) ensuring transactional accuracy and full traceability.
- Ownership of cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and ensure real time inventory accuracy with zero negative balances.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure accurate reconciliation of inventory between systems and physical stock.
- Take ownership of deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
- Conduct and interpret warehouse capacity reports using SAP data and Excel analytics to forecast and optimise storage utilisation.
- Perform siting assessments and capacity planning for new product introductions or business continuity planning.
- Support internal and external inventory audits, acting as the primary SAP contact for audit trail and data validation.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related discipline.
- 3+ years of hands on SAP experience in inventory, warehouse, or materials management.
- Strong understanding of SAP master data, movement types, bin management, and inventory reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, data validation, charts).
- Strong working knowledge of GMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
- High attention to detail with proven problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to train others on SAP related processes.
