Senior Speech & Language Therapist – Primary Care (Paediatrics)

Southside Dublin | 6-Month Contract | Full-Time |  Immediate Start

Overview

I am recruiting a Senior Speech & Language Therapist for a Primary Care service on the southside of Dublin, supporting children and young people up to 18 years of age. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established HSE team and gain valuable experience across a broad paediatric caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment and intervention for children with a wide range of communication needs
• Manage a varied caseload including:
  • Developmental Language Disorder (DLD)
  • Speech sound disorders and delays
  • Fluency (e.g. stammering)
  • Voice disorders
  • Hearing impairment
• Develop and implement individualised, family-centred care plans
• Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development where required

Essential Criteria

• Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy
• CORU registration (or eligibility to register)
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience, with strong paediatric exposure
• Experience working in primary care or community settings desirable
• Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
