Site Supervisor

PE Global is recruiting a Site Supervisor for our renewable energy client based in the UK.

This is a 12 months contract role, fully on site in Middlesbrough.

PAYE £239.44 per day
Umbrella £316.65 per day
Inside of IR35

Duties of the role/Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of internal and external resources and equipment technical specialists during on-site installation/construction activities related to the assigned discipline* to assure cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
• Responsible, from receiving the assigned site area from the customer or Project Manager to handing over, for coordinating all on-site activities related to the assigned discipline to ensure the successful execution of start-up, installation/construction, erection, testing and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
• Serves as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers as well as other local organizations.
• Controls project cost for the project site work, monitors actual spend against forecasts, and estimates final cost for the same.
• Ensures (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect reports within HR policies.

Education/Experience

• Looking for candidates that have several years of experience previously as a Site Supervisor.
• Candidates must have good experience with Site Management, Health & Safety (OHS), Environment, Quality Assurance & Control, Installation Works and basic know-how with Commissioning and Civil Works.
