This post arises due to an up and coming vacancy for a full-time Speciality Doctor. 

This is a full-time post (10PAs) but there can be flexibility, depending on the needs of the successful candidate.

Main Duties of the Job :

•  The team consists of two full-time consultants, two Associate Specialists, and trainees supervised by the consultants. Colleagues collaborate closely, providing general support, cross-cover during leave, and sharing office space.
• The core is part of the broader Community Mental Health Service (CMHS), comprising various professionals such as therapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers, mental health nurses, psychiatrists, and team managers.
• We work collaboratively, particularly in complex cases and high-risk situations, through patient consultations, care planning, referrals, and multi-disciplinary team meetings.
• Formal liaison meetings with inpatient services aid in admissions and discharges. Training is available to align with our clinical model.
