About the Role

We’re seeking a Supervising Pharmacist to lead the pharmacy team at a new clinic which is aiming to open in March or late Febuary, ensure full PSI compliance, and deliver exceptional patient care. This role suits someone who enjoys clinical practice, mentoring others, and creating a positive, community-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

As Supervising Pharmacist, you’ll take responsibility for the safe and compliant running of the pharmacy in line with the Pharmacy Act 2007 and PSI guidelines. You’ll oversee dispensing, stock control, and record-keeping, while ensuring all legal and professional standards are met. You’ll support and develop your team, promote continuous professional development, and maintain a culture where patient safety, communication, and teamwork come first. You’ll also play a hands-on role in delivering expert advice, supporting health initiatives such as vaccination and screening services, and driving service excellence in every interaction.

What We’re Looking For

• Current registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)

• Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience in community pharmacy (supervisory experience an advantage)

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Proactive, organised, and patient-focused approach

• A positive attitude and ability to lead by example
