Logistics Administrator

PE Global is recruiting a Logistics Administrator for our industrial manufacturing client based in Desford. The role is an initial 12 month contract and the rate is £15.81 PAYE or £24.39 Umbrella ph.

The role will cover a wide range of Logistics topics, but the main day to day focus will be on supporting administration tasks for 200 vehicles our client has on site. The role will involve problem resolution andthe successful candidate will work closely with our clients main fleet suppliers. The role will also focus on supporting good communications between internal departments with reference to the status of fleet vehicles and building relationships.

The hours of work for this role is 07:30-16:00 Mon-Thurs, 07:30-10:30 Fri. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide the Logistics Planning team with support for day to day tasks, such as data entry, laminating, printing and ordering goods.
• Network and build relationships with other departments at Desford, to help support across site.
• Adhere to the company’s Health & Safety policy and safe working practices.
• Be responsible for MHE Fleet Invoicing, Providing Fleet Purchase Orders for vehicle repairs Inputting Data in to Excel Spreadsheets and maintaining the files Become proficient in using the Coupa/Next Gen Ordering System
• Support with solving invoicing disputes with the suppliers and keep payments up to date. Support with coordinating tyre fitters, services, windscreen replacements etc

Requirements:

• 2+ years logistics/admin experience
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with departments and suppliers.
• Strong communicator
• Automotive, manufacturing or finance backgrounds would be useful.
• Any involvement with MHE counterbalance trucks would be beneficial.
