Consultant – Obs & Gyn – Saudi Arabia

PE Global Healthcare is currently looking for a Female Arabic speaking Obs & Gyn Consultant for a prestigious hospital based in Saudi  Arabia 

Job Purpose / Objective

The Consultant OB/GYN & IVF is responsible for providing high-quality clinical care in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive medicine, including assessment, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and follow-up. The role includes active participation in quality improvement, clinical governance, education, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient clinics and inpatient services as per approved schedules.

• Assess, diagnose, treat, and follow up obstetric, gynecologic, and fertility patients.

• Admit patients when clinically indicated within approved privileges.

• Prescribe medications and provide medical, surgical, and assisted reproductive treatments as appropriate.

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic OB/GYN and IVF-related procedures within granted privileges.

• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.

• Coordinate referrals and provide consultations to other specialties as required.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical documentation and authenticate electronic records.

• Supervise, support, and review the work of junior medical staff and trainees.

• Approve discharge summaries, medical reports, and follow-up plans.

• Participate in on-call duties, emergency responses, and Code Blue activations as required.

• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, protocols, medico-legal requirements, and medical ethics.

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and committee activities.

• Participate in teaching, training, and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows.

• Promote patient-centered care with compassion, respect, and dignity.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in OB/GYN, preferably including IVF services, in a tertiary care setting.

• Subspecialty or structured IVF/Reproductive Medicine training is preferred.

Licensing & Certification

• Board certification, fellowship, or equivalent in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

• Valid professional license from the country of origin, acceptable to the relevant health authorities.
