Social Care Worker

PE Global Healthcare are currently recruiting for Social Care Workers for North Cork

These are Permanent Full-Time and Part Time positions.

The ideal candidates will have:-

• A HETAC Accredited Diploma/Degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or a qualification in Nursing (RNID) or Social Work (Degree).
• Experience in managing behaviour which challenges.
• Experience with adults/children with intellectual disabilities.
• The ability to work on his/her own initiative and supervise service users/staff in a residential setting.
• Full Driver’s Licence

Purpose of the post: Liaise with Residents and Staff in Adults/Children’s Services, Multidisciplinary Team and Parents & Families.

Hours of work: As per contract. Rostered duties, 12-hour shifts, days/ night shift, weekends and weekdays.

Requirements:

Minimum of a Level 7 is required.

• Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree in Social Care
• Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social Care
• Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social Care Practice
• Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Social Studies- Professional Social Care Practice
• Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social Care- Applied Social Studies in Professional Social Care
• Higher Diploma in Applied Social Studies (Professional Social Care) Level 8
